 In my class, you can expect:

Heat. Practicing in a heated room allows you to stretch more and burn more calories. The postures are detoxifying for your muscles, organs, and glands. Sweating helps you flush more toxins from the body.  

Energy. We will focus on increasing physical, mental and spiritual energy. My goal is for you to leave the class feeling better than when you started. 

Encouragement.  I teach yoga to share a little bit of peace and happiness throughout the world. We all come to yoga for our own reasons. Some of us want to lose weight. Others want to manage stress and anxiety. And others come to connect with their true selves. Whatever your goal, I am here to support you in achieving it.


Bikram Yoga

Bikram Yoga is a system of yoga that Bikram Choudhury synthesized from traditional hatha yoga techniques and popularized beginning in the early 1970s. The class is a 90-minute moving meditation with 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in a room heated to 105°F (40.6°C), with a humidity of 40%.  You can be certain that you will sweat; the class challenges you both physically and mentally.


Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is a branch of yoga that emphasizes physical exercises to master the body and assist the mind with withdrawing from external objects. This class is gentle, slow and great for beginners or students who prefer a relaxed style and a focus on breathing.


Kemetic Yoga is the Egyptian system of Yoga that existed in ancient Egypt thousands of years ago, pre-dating the Yoga of India. The modern version of this ancient system was developed from primary research conducted by Dr. Asar Hapi and Master Yirser Ra Hotep. These slow flowing postures are harmonized with controlled breathing and energy flow to help align the physical body, energy body and mind.

Yoga for Kids

This fun and engaging 60-minute class is a great way to introduce the joy of yoga to kids. Lauren tailors the class based on the ages of the participants: Kids (ages 4-9), Tweens (ages 10-13) and Teens (ages 13-17).


A solid meditation practice can help to reduce stress and balance emotions. In this 30-minute class, Lauren will walk you through a guided meditation to help you calm the mind and relax the body, eventually reaching a peaceful state in the present moment.
